Is This Program Suitable for Children?

If your child is pretty good at using the computer independently, he/she should be able to work through the site without trouble. We also have a number of kids who love using the site along with their parents' help.

That said, our content does tend to be more geared toward adult learners. Some of the grammar explanations may be too advanced and some of the content may be less relevant to a child, such as our units and episodes on Buying a Home, Going to the Bank, etc. While the majority of what you hear is appropriate language, there are some episodes containing rude phrases, as well as a unit on Slang that includes mild swear words. 

We know everyone is going to have a different level of comfort for content when it comes to their children. As a parent or loved one, you know best! To know for sure, the best approach is to try it out yourself. If you become a member, give it a try for a week or so, and it doesn't seem like what you're looking for, just email us and we'll be happy to refund what you paid for the month and cancel the account.
